The list can be endless and the risk is certainly very real.  All of these issues are consumer threats that we deal with at your credit union.  OCCU has put in place security measures to help protect you with trained staff that are aware of the scams and threats that are being perpetrated against consumers.  We also use companies who administer our debit/credit card programs by monitoring the activity on your cards so they can alert you – and us – if they detect any suspicious transactions occurring on your card.

Remember – OCCU will never ask for account information from you by fax, email, Internet, or texting.  We will contact you by mail or by phone and ask you to come in to the office and identify yourself before we gather any information from you.  DO NOT give out your personal information to anyone that contacts you electronically!!!
