PERSONAL CONTACT INFO BOX

This box may appear requesting your personal contact information be submitted even though your information has not changed.  This is a required entry so please fill out all the information and submit for future correspondence and security.  If you click on the “submit” button and the site re-sets back to the information box or logon area again, try to change/enter a “generic” e-mail address.  This may be because the site does not recognize the domain of your e-mail, so try a simple e-mail address such as:  johndoe@gmail.com

The e-mail address does not need to be valid, but at this time the box is requiring an entry.  You can update your email address once you are in your account by clicking on the ”My Profile” - Change Contact Information - section on the left of the screen.

BROWSERS :

Most commonly used browsers are secure, the interpretation of the program coding of the browser compared to our website coding is usually the issue with compatibility.

MicrosoftInternet Explorer 8 (IE8) Users: Our new and enhanced E Banking site is not yet compatible with the security settings of Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), however, Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) will function properly with the security on the new E Banking site. To uninstall IE8, click on the link below and scroll to the bottom of the page to “Troubleshooting” and select the link to uninstall IE8.  You will be automatically set to Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) when the uninstall procedures are complete – no need to download a new version of IE7.  You must restart your computer for the new settings to take effect.

Mozilla Firefox Users: At this time, the Mozilla Firefox browser is not compatible with our E Banking site due to the high security settings.  We are addressing this to see if, in the future, we can work with the settings set forth by Mozilla and our website.  For now, you may select to install Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) to view your E Banking site in a compatible setting, while still retaining the Mozilla Firefox browser as an optional/default browser.   Please use the link below to download IE7. You do not have to select IE7 as your default browser, but you may place a link on your desktop.  Follow the download instructions to completion. You must restart your computer for the new settings to take effect.

SeaMonkey Users: This is the newest Internet suite from Mozilla and is in it’s “Beta” stage.    It appears to function but with some display issues, having some information forced to the bottom of the page. Scrolling to the bottom will retrieve the display. As always, we encourage you to use caution when using any new, “Beta” version of an application.

Safari Users: This is the common browser for Apple computers such as the Mac, but it is also available for PC users. The OCCU website functions with Safari, except that the information in the Bill Pay section will be forced to the right of the webpage – simply scroll over to the right side to view the info.   No other problems have been reported yet while using Safari.

Google Chrome: The OCCU website functions with the new Google Chrome, with no reported problems.
