In May 2025, OCCU attended the 2025 CU*South Visionary Conference in Orlando, FL (Rosen Shingle Creek). Four out of Five Board of Directors were in attendance, along with Three of our Management Team. We enjoyed the TWO Keynote Speakers and all of the many Breakout Sessions including board meeting their required annual BSA Training. Those chips are the President/CEO’s winnings of $240k. – Only if it were real money. The fun casino night was hosted by TransFund to give attendees time to wind down after days of classroom/breakout sessions.
In May 2025, OCCU was visited by Retired Compliance GURU Bill Berg. Bill worked over 35yrs with Florida Credit Union League(FCUL), then name changed to League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU), and he retired just prior to another name change to The League. Bill is now consulting multiple credit unions and still staying in touch with many others. – One never knows who’s going to show up for Casual Fridays!
